Wishing you a very happy new year of the rabbit

Asialink Arts is well underway with a busy year ahead building on programs and concepts from 2022. Continuing to foster new partnerships, elevate the agency and capability of the Australia arts sector to engage with the Asia-Pacific.

Supported by the Australia Korea Foundation and Creative Victoria we launch our new two-year Korean market development program and reciprocal craft & design exchange in February, and in March, thanks to support from Arts Tasmania, we are in Singapore supporting Stephanie Jack and Assembly 197 with their new collaborations under development with Singaporean collaborators.

We will continue to strengthen the connections formed within our Regional // Regional Alliance. This collaboration between 30 producers and directors from across Australia and the Asia-Pacific will continue to share their insights and work towards co-productions for their respective communities. We look forward to providing further seed assistance for these projects to continue and we remain grateful to The Yulgilbar Foundation and Circle 5 for their ongoing support.

Asialink's cross-sectoral programs including the Most Influential Asian Australian Awards, Sir Weary Dunlop Award and Lecture and the Asialink Leaders Program will continue to promote leadership and capability.

We believe Australia’s engagement with the Asia Pacific is a project of national significance and we would love for you to keep us updated with the work you are undertaking to strengthen engagement.

There is so much more too – stay tuned!

Wishing you a happy 2023 from the Asialink Arts Team

Apply Now - Asialink Leaders Program Arts Fellowships

Asialink Arts is proud to announce two Arts Fellowships for the Asialink Leaders Program in 2023. This initiative was formed in order to acknowledge the challenges the arts and creative industries have faced since 2020 and the critical impact that arts leaders make to the social, cultural and economic development of Australia.

Applicants from all areas of the arts and creative industries are eligible for Fellowships. Asialink will provide the full Program fee of $11,300, excluding travel and accommodation related to program attendance.

This fellowship was established by Asialink in 2022, and has since been awarded to two extraordinary artistic leaders: Ari Palani, La Boite Theatre, and Alana Hunt, Regional Arts Australia. Asialink Arts strongly encourages applications from individuals in regional and rural communities across Australia.
