All a Part Video Recordings Now Available

Asialink Arts is proud to have presented in partnership with QAGOMA and the team behind APT10 All a Part, a free series of virtual forums that created a sense of community, connection and discussion on key themes of the tenth iteration of the Asia Pacific Triennial.

Over 3 consecutive weeks artists, interlocutors, collaborators and curators from the APT10 discussed key conceptual frames that emerged in APT10 and offered insights into the changing conditions and practices of artists in Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

Three inter-connected themes centred on the contested natures and narratives of visibility and invisibility, communities and futures, explored through presentations, panel discussions and screenings with time and space provided for discussion and networking. Admission was free.

The video recordings of All a Part: APT10 Professional Engagement Forums are now available online on the Asialink Arts website and the Asialink Youtube channel.

Asialink is grateful for the assistance provided by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.

Calling for Expressions of Interest from the Tasmanian Arts & Creative Industries

Asialink Arts in partnership with Arts Tasmania is delivering Singapore Arts Now an initiative designed to support self-determined engagement for Tasmanian artists and arts organisations to research or create new work for new markets in Singapore and potentially South East Asia (SEA).

The program evolves incrementally over two years to re-consider and re-start international engagement. It is focused on sharing insights on platforms and audience engagement, developing connections and supporting partnerships.

Following the completion of Stage 1 - Briefing: Insider Perspectives on Singapore Arts Now in February 2022, we are now inviting interested Tasmanian arts organisations, individuals and collectives to submit EOIs to participate in the stages 2 workshop which offers an in-depth workshop on cultural context and specific artform market characteristics and opportunities.

More information can be found here.

Regional // Regional coming soon to Darwin Festival

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming three-year initiative Regional // Regional: Festival Alliances Across Australia and the Asia Pacific will be launched at Darwin Festival. Inspired by the creativity, resilience and agility of regional communities that are locally situated but globally relevant, this unique program brings together representatives from regional arts festivals across Australia and the Asia-Pacific to exchange insights from their respective regions, build long-term connections, and develop strategic initiatives to implement in the future.

Stay tuned for more details.

Asialink is enormously grateful for the foundational financial assistance provided by The Yulgilbar Foundation over three years.

We are thrilled to announce Alana Hunt, independent artist and coordinator of Regional Assembly at Regional Arts Australia and Ari Palani, Youth and Education Producer at LaBoite Theatre.
